On December 14, 2011, the members of Winthrop Federal Credit Union (WFCU) voted at a meeting on the proposal to merge with Webster First Federal Credit Union (Webster First) of Worcester.  By majority vote, Winthrop Federal Credit Union will be taking a new direction in the coming months which will culminate in a strategic partnership with Webster First.  The merger will be legally effective December 31st, 2011, but there will be no noticeable changes in service of your accounts until March, 2012.

ATTENTION WINTHROP FEDERAL MEMBERS

Due to the systems conversion with Webster First Federal Credit Union the Winthrop branch will be closed on Saturday, March 31st, 2012.  Online Banking and Audio Response will not be available from 4:00pm Friday, March 30th until Monday, April 2nd.  Please refer to the Winthrop Conversion Guide for additional details on how the system conversion will affect your accounts.  We apologize for the inconvenience.
